What If We Qualify? What's Next?

Once we have determined that your business qualifies for business tax credits, we will prepare all required documentation and, if applicable, amend your prior tax returns to claim refunds and to lock in your credits to be used in future years. Unlike boutique consulting firms that only provide qualification and documentation services, we provide a complete solution that includes the preparation of all required tax returns for claiming refunds and credit carryforwards for any unused credits.

Qualifications

1. Determine whether your business is located in a designated area

For California Enterprise Zone Credits and Deductions, please visit the following website to determine whether your business is located in one of 42 enterprise zones.

California Enterprise Zones

For Federal Tax Credits, please visit the following website to determine whether your business is located in an RC, EZ, or EC zone.

Federal Targeted Zones

Your company may qualify for R&D Credit if it is engaged in development of new or improved products or processes, or make significant investments in the development of internal-use software.

For Work Opportunity Tax Credit and Native American Employment Credit, employment of those receiving certain government assistance or employment of the members of an Indian tribe who live and work on or near an Indian Reservation is enough to qualify your business for the credits.

2. If you believe that your business qualifies or have any questions regarding your business’ qualifications, please contact us. One of our specialists will answer your questions and provide a free preliminary analysis.

For special tax credits services, our fees are a percentage of tax savings realized by your company as a result of claiming California EZ credits/deductions and/or federal tax credits.

Please complete the Request for Services form for a free preliminary analysis of whether your business qualifies for a special tax credit.
